V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics. By using our services, the customer agrees to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any future updates or modifications.

2. Scope of Services

V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics provides courier and logistics services including but not limited to:

• International shipping from China and the USA to Jamaica
• Package forwarding and freight services
Cash on Delivery (COD) services where applicable
• Online shopping assistance services
• Package pickup and delivery services
• Mobile delivery services within selected areas
• Local package handling and logistics coordination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics ships approximately five (5) times per week.

All shipping times are estimated only and may vary due to:

• Customs processing
• Airline or shipping carrier schedules
• Weather conditions
• Government inspections
• High shipment volumes
• Other circumstances beyond our control

We strive to maintain reliable and timely deliveries, but delivery times are not guaranteed.

4. Service Areas

Primary service areas include:

Montego Bay
Falmouth Square (Courts Store Area)
• Surrounding areas within St. James and Trelawny

Delivery outside these areas may be arranged through third-party courier services at the customer's expense.

5. Pickup Locations

Customers may collect packages from our pickup locations including:

Sam Sharpe Square – Burger King / Scotiabank area
Jay's Fruteria Shop – Bug Bunny Main Road, Lilliput

Additional pickup points may be introduced in the future.

6. Shipping Rates

For shipments above 10 lbs, additional weight is charged at JMD 5,900 per increment as determined by shipment category or freight class.

Final shipping costs may vary depending on:

• Package size or dimensional weight
• Customs duties
• Government taxes
• Handling fees

7. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer's own risk.

V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics is not responsible for:

• Vendor mistakes or incorrect shipments
• Incorrect addresses provided by customers
• Packages lost before arriving at our warehouse
• Delays caused by airlines, shipping carriers, or customs authorities
• Damage caused by poor vendor packaging

Liability begins once packages arrive at our handling location and ends once packages are handed over to the customer or third-party courier.

8. Fragile Items

Fragile items including:

• Electronics
• Glass products
• Liquids
• Cosmetics
• Breakable items

are shipped entirely at the customer’s risk, regardless of packaging.

9. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must comply with all local and international shipping laws.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

• Illegal drugs
• Firearms or ammunition
• Explosives or flammable materials
• Hazardous chemicals
• Counterfeit goods
• Pornographic material
• Perishable foods
• Live animals
• Cash or negotiable instruments

Any prohibited items may be confiscated or reported to authorities without refund.

10. Customs, Duties & Government Charges

Customers are fully responsible for:

• Customs duties
• Import taxes
• Government processing fees
• Clearance costs

V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics has no control over customs authorities and cannot guarantee customs clearance timelines.

11. Payment Terms

Payments must be completed before packages are released.

Accepted payment methods include:

• Cash
• Approved digital transfers

Failure to settle balances may result in delayed package release.

12. Cash on Delivery (COD) Services

V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics may provide Cash on Delivery services for select customers.

COD transactions are subject to:

• Service verification
• Delivery location approval
• Additional handling conditions

13. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Customers will be notified once packages arrive.

Packages not collected within 7 days may incur storage fees.

Packages unclaimed after 30 days may be disposed of, auctioned, or donated to recover operational costs.

14. Rewards & Promotions

V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics offers promotional programs including:

10–15% discount on first delivery
• Customer reward programs where applicable
• Promotional shipping offers

All promotions are subject to change without notice.

15. Customer Service Commitment

We prioritize:

Clear communication
Transparent pricing
Reliable delivery schedules

When you choose V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics, you are choosing a trusted logistics partner committed to keeping your shipments moving smoothly.

16. Claims & Complaints

All claims must be reported within 48 hours of package collection.

Customers may be required to provide:

• Shipping invoices
• Photos of damaged items
• Proof of value

Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

17. Amendments

V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates take effect immediately once published.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and V&E OnPoint Shipping Logistics regarding the use of our services.
